OmniFocus launches on the web

The Mac and iOS task management app OmniFocus lanched a web version featuring the core functionalities of the popular task management system but still requires the use of iOS apps to get started.

Currently, the web version includes core features like viewing your projects, adding actions, marking actions as complete, and more.

OmniFocus launches on the web

The web version is currently designed for use on a laptop or desktop rather than on a touch device. Perfect for a work environment that doesn't allow installing apps or doesn't run Macs.

Spark adds Siri Shortcuts

After the iOS 12 update, is now possible to create Siri Shortcuts for the email app Spark. This will allow you to improve and automate your daily workflow and be even more productive.

How to:

  • open the Spark app

  • go to Settings

  • select Siri & Shortcuts

  • there you'll see all the available shortcuts

Available Shortcuts:

  • Open Folder: allows you to directly open a specific folder in Spark.

  • Search Email: allows you to search emails from a specific sender or containing a specific string, for example.

Compose Email: allows you to compose an email to a certain person or group.

Todoist introduces custom icons on iOS

Todoist introduces custom icons with the last update for iOS. You can pick from over 20 color schemes to customize even more your app experience.

You can find the option in Settings > App Icon.

Another update was also released for Apple Watch Series 4. You can now customize your watch faces to see how many tasks are left for the day or the next upcoming tasks.

Evernote to release New Web Search

For those not following, Evernote have introduced a new YouTube series called “Behind the Scenes at Evernote” - a way to see what Evernote are working on next. It’s a great insight and explained each week by Ian Small. Here’s the video below.
