Does it mean a new release soon?
We’re still not sure about that since it now looks like that “Gantt Charts” has been replaced by “Timeline view” and, again, “Better offline”.
It looks like Notion’s current focus has shifted during the last few days.
TickTick releases Kanban Boards
On May 15th, TickTick released a new update introducing Kanban Boards for the desktop and web apps. These boards will help to enhance the viewing angles in which anyone can switch to.
You can switch to Kanban view or, vicevers, to list view
Default smart lists such as “Today” cannot be switched into Kanban view
Tasks can be rearranged by Time, Title, Tag, Priority or Custom
Columns can be rearranged, just like in Trello
Evernote experimenting with "beta note-taking layout"
Evernote is currently experimenting with a new note-taking layout but it’s only available in beta for now and there isn’t an official release date yet. (Video: min. 3:13)
This beta layout is coming, but it’s not something to go raving about. Evernote have been working on sharing their “Behind the Scenes” with their CEO, Ian Small the last few weeks.
Todoist is playing with a simplified Calendar View
Todoist is going to roll out a bunch of new features during the next few months, like sections similar to Things 3 and boards. It looks like they are also playing around with a simplified calendar view. No due dates announced yet.
